Battery Management System - Design and Packaging

Role & responsibilities

• Perform 3D CAD design and 2D drawing creation using CATIA V5/V6
• Define packaging concepts considering:
• Space constraints and packaging envelope
• Clearance and accessibility
• Mounting strategy
• Electrical isolation requirements
• Harness routing and connector accessibility
• Thermal considerations
• Vibration and mechanical loading
• Assembly and serviceability
• Perform vehicle/battery-package integration and interference/clearance checks.
• Develop BMS housings, brackets, covers, mounting features, and interfaces with the battery pack.
• Support packaging of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical interfaces associated with the battery system.
