What they need

Drive Digital Transformation Across Early Learning

This is an exciting opportunity to join BPA’s Transformation team at a time of significant digital change. With OWNA and 1Place being implemented across the organisation, you’ll help shape how our systems work, support successful implementation and adoption, improve data quality and develop smarter, more consistent ways of working.

About BPA Early Learning

Established in 1998, BPA Early Learning is a not-for-profit Early Years Manager providing kindergarten and childcare services across Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Today, more than 400 employees support over 2,500 children and their families across 34 early childhood services, working in partnership with parents, communities and local and state government to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.

Child Safety

At BPA Early Learning, child safety is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for Board Members who understand that creating a child-safe environment is everyone's responsibility and who are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, respected, included, heard and empowered.

The Opportunity

The Business Systems Support Analyst is a specialist role responsible for supporting, improving and optimising BPA’s early-years operational systems. You’ll act as a super user, systems adviser, trainer, process improver and vendor liaison, ensuring systems are reliable, user-friendly and fit for purpose.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing super-user support across OWNA, Arrival, EnrolNow, Qikkids, StoryPark and related systems.
  • Troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolutions with vendors.
  • Supporting data quality, reporting and regulatory submissions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, system configuration and data capture.
  • Developing user guides, process documentation and workflows.
  • Delivering training and supporting capability uplift across services.
  • Supporting system migrations, upgrades and enhancements.
  • Assisting with user adoption and change management.
  • Providing basic ICT support and assisting staff with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and other digital tools.

About You

We’re looking for a systems-focused professional who can bridge the gap between technology and day-to-day operations.

You will bring:

  • Strong experience as a super user across business applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system issues and coordinate vendor resolutions.
  • Experience developing process documentation, workflows and user guides.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to translate technical information into practical guidance for non-technical users.
  • Experience improving workflows, data quality and system configuration.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High digital literacy and confidence learning new systems.
  • An understanding of early-years operational processes such as enrolments, attendance, ratios and compliance.

Experience with OWNA, 1Place, Arrival, EnrolNow, Qikkids or StoryPark would be highly desirable, as would experience working within the early-years sector

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

  • Qualification in Business Systems, ICT or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Current Australian working rights.
  • Current driver's licence.
