Addiwise Technologies is looking for CAD / CAM Design Engineers to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
Mechanism Design : Mechanical Systems Design : Design and create mechanical systems, including mechanisms, linkages, and structures that perform specific functions or motions. Kinematic Analysis : Analyze and model the motion and behavior of mechanical systems, ensuring that they function as intended and meet performance requirements. Dynamic Simulation : Perform dynamic simulations to assess the behavior of mechanical systems under various conditions, such as loads, forces, and environmental factors. Tolerance Analysis : Evaluate and optimize component tolerances to ensure proper fit and alignment within the system. Material Selection : Choose appropriate materials for mechanical components based on factors like strength, weight, and durability. Prototyping : Create prototypes and physical models to test and validate the design concepts and mechanisms. 3D Modeling : Develop 3D models of mechanical systems and components using CAD software to visualize and refine designs. Design Optimization : Optimize mechanical systems for efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability. CAD (Computer-Aided Design) : CAD Software Proficiency : Proficiently use CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX, to create detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical parts and assemblies. Parametric Design : Utilize parametric modeling to create design flexibility and maintain design intent. Assemblies : Construct complex assemblies of multiple components, ensuring proper fit and function. Drafting and Documentation : Create engineering drawings and documentation, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for manufacturing. Simulation and Analysis : Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to assess the structural and mechanical behavior of parts and assemblies. CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) : CAM Software Proficiency : Be well-versed in CAM software like Mastercam, Fusion 360, or PowerMill to generate toolpaths for CNC machining. Toolpath Generation : Generate toolpaths that take into account cutting tools, machining strategies, and the material to be machined. NC Code Generation : Convert CAD models into numerical control (NC) code for CNC machines. Machining Optimization : Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle times, minimize tool wear, and maximize production efficiency. Quality Control : Ensure that machined parts meet design specifications and quality standards. Material Selection and Machining Parameters : Choose appropriate materials and determine the optimal cutting parameters for different machining operations.
