CAD / Design & Documentation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD / Design & Documentation Specialist to support our technical and project teams in preparing drawings, layouts, 3D visualizations, technical documentation, presentations, and project records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Adobe Illustrator, MS Office, and MS Visio, along with strong documentation, coordination, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare, modify, and update AutoCAD drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical drawings based on project requirements.

· Develop 2D drawings and 3D models/visualizations to support project design and presentation requirements.

· Create 3D models and visual presentations using 3ds Max.

· Prepare professional graphics, layouts, and presentation materials using Adobe Illustrator.

· Prepare technical documents, reports, presentations, schedules, trackers, and other project documentation using MS Office applications.

· Develop flowcharts, process diagrams, system diagrams, and technical documentation using MS Visio.

· Maintain proper documentation and revision control for drawings, technical documents, and project records.

· Ensure drawings and documentation are properly named, filed, updated, and readily available for project teams.

· Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Site Teams, Sales/Presales, and other internal departments to obtain required technical information and incorporate changes into drawings and documents.

· Update drawings and documentation based on site conditions, project changes, comments, and approved revisions.

· Support the preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation where required.

· Assist in compiling documentation for project submissions, approvals, handover, and close-out.

· Ensure all drawings and documentation are accurate, consistent, professionally presented, and completed within agreed timelines.

· Handle multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.

· Follow company documentation standards, templates, and project requirements.

Qualification & Experience

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design, Architecture, Computer-Aided Design, or a related discipline.

· Relevant professional certification or equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

· Previous experience in a CAD Drafting, Design, Technical Documentation, or Project Documentation role is preferred.

· Experience working in an ELV, ICT, MEP, engineering, construction, systems integration, or project-based environment would be an advantage.

Technical Skills

· AutoCAD - 2D drawings, layouts, modifications, and technical drafting.

· 3ds Max - 3D modelling and visualization.

· Adobe Illustrator - graphics, layouts, and presentation materials.

· MS Visio - technical diagrams, system diagrams, and flowcharts.

· Microsoft Office - particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Drawing/document revision and version control.

· Technical documentation and project filing practices.

· UAE experience in a project-based technical environment.

· Exposure to ELV, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, ICT, AV, MEP, or related systems.

· Experience preparing as-built drawings, technical submissions, system layouts, and project handover documentation.

· Familiarity with project documentation and drawing revision/control procedures.

Compensation

AED 3,500 - 5,000 per month, inclusive of accommodation allowance. Final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, and technical proficiency.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
