Job Summary

We are looking for skilled CAD Design Engineers with automotive design experience and proficiency in CATIA V5/V6. The candidate will be responsible for 3D modelling, 2D drafting, component design, assembly design, and engineering modifications in accordance with automotive OEM and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA V5/V6.
• Design and develop automotive components, parts, and assemblies.
• Work on automotive product design, detailing, and engineering modifications.
• Perform part modelling, assembly modelling, surface modelling, and drafting.
• Understand engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and design specifications.
• Support design validation, clash checks, and design reviews.
• Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO) as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing, and customer engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modelling, 2D drafting, assemblies, and detailing.
• Understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance stack-up.
• Knowledge of automotive components and product development processes.
• Experience in design modifications and engineering change management.
