CAD Technician

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to prepare accurate engineering drawings for road, drainage, utility and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare highway, drainage, utility and infrastructure drawings.
• Produce plans, profiles, sections and technical details.
• Update drawings based on engineering comments and revisions.
• Prepare tender, detailed design and construction drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings when required.
• Coordinate drawings between engineering disciplines.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision information.
• Follow project CAD standards and naming conventions.
• Check drawings for dimensions, levels, annotations and accuracy.
• Support engineers with drawing production.
• Coordinate CAD files with BIM models.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant CAD experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills.
• Civil 3D experience is highly desirable.
• Infrastructure/road project experience preferred.
• Engineering consultancy experience is an advantage.
• Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
