Key Responsibilities

·

Administer and monitor Azure resources, subscriptions, resource groups, and policies.

·

Manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux) and SQL Server hosted on Azure VMs .

·

Support Azure SQL Database , database monitoring, backup verification, and basic troubleshooting.

·

Monitor cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts .

·

Support Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Route Tables, VPN Gateways, Private Endpoints, and Private DNS Zones .

·

Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) , RBAC, MFA, and access controls.

·

Perform Vulnerability Management Services (VMS) remediation , including security patching, OS hardening, vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, and closure of security findings.

·

Support cloud security, compliance audits, and implementation of security recommendations.

·

Assist with backup, recovery, patching, and operational health checks.

·

Develop and maintain basic automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

·

Troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, and database-related issues.

·

Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.

Required Skills

·

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.

·

Understanding of Azure SQL Database and SQL Server Administration .

·

Experience with Windows Server and RHEL/Linux administration.

·

Knowledge of Azure networking fundamentals.

·

Basic scripting using PowerShell and Azure CLI .

·

Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and access controls.
