Consultant - PostgreSQL Developer

• Work with the API integration team to implement business specific views to accommodate simple to complex logic, including implementation of functions.
• Work with team to analyze and optimize data API pipelines using GCP logs and dynatrace.
• Work closely with the leads to design optimal query solutions to provide a robust platform for GQL to intelligently pick the data from PG and expose it to front-end for API portal usecase.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application logic
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide efficient data access solutions
• Work with GCP services such as Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other relevant data services.
• Monitor database and application logs to identify and troubleshoot issues, performance anomalies, and security events.
• Design and implement GraphQL APIs to provide efficient and flexible data access for front-end applications and other services.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend AI/ML tools and technologies that can enhance data processing, analysis, or application functionality
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and operations.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the team
• Work closely with front-end developers to define API requirements and contracts
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable PostgreSQL database schemas
• Perform routine database maintece, including backups, restores, and performance tuning

Experience

• 1-2 years in PostgreSQL, full database lifecycle.
