Design Engineer (CAD)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create 3D part models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Design and modify product enclosures, brackets, mounting components, and other mechanical parts.
• Prepare drawings suitable for sheet-metal fabrication, machining, and manufacturing.
• Measure existing components and prototypes and convert them into accurate CAD models.
• Evaluate component fitment, alignment, clearances, and assembly feasibility.
• Coordinate with the electronics, production, and testing teams during product development.
• Implement design modifications based on prototype testing and manufacturing feedback.
• Maintain CAD files, technical drawings, revisions, and design documentation.
• Support prototype development and continuous product improvement activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Basic to good knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and basic manufacturing practices.
• Good 3D visualization and spatial understanding.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn practical design and manufacturing processes.

Good to Have—Not Mandatory

• Knowledge of Fusion 360.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.
• Knowledge of sheet-metal design.
• Familiarity with machining and fabrication processes.
• Basic knowledge of assembly design.
• Understanding of engineering materials and manufacturing methods

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
