Land Survey Site Plan Draftsman — Job Description

Prepare site plans and land survey drawings using survey data and field measurements.

Convert surveyor’s field measurements into accurate 2D drawings/CAD plans.

Show property boundaries, dimensions, roads, buildings, plots, levels, and existing structures.

Prepare plans for land subdivision, building construction, boundary identification, and development proposals.

Use AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar CAD software to prepare and modify drawings.

Check dimensions, scales, coordinates, and other survey information for accuracy.

Coordinate with land surveyors, engineers, architects, and government/local-body offices when required.

Revise drawings based on surveyor/engineer instructions.

Maintain proper records of survey drawings and revisions.

Print/plot drawings in the required scale and paper format.

Survey Plan Drawing – Job Description

Prepare accurate land survey plans based on field survey measurements and survey records.

Draft property boundaries, plot dimensions, survey numbers, subdivision details, roads, pathways, buildings, and other features.

Convert field measurements and surveyor’s sketches into scaled technical drawings.

Prepare and edit drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD/survey drafting software.

Calculate and indicate areas, distances, bearings, coordinates, and levels as required.

Prepare plans for land subdivision, boundary demarcation, building sites, and property development.

Verify the accuracy of measurements, dimensions, scale, and survey details before finalizing plans.

Make corrections and revisions based on the instructions of the Licensed Surveyor/Surveyor/Engineer.

Maintain survey drawings, field sketches, registers, and related records.

Prepare final drawings for submission to the concerned government/local authority where required.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
