Draftsman (Drafter)

WE ARE HIRING – DRAUGHTSMAN / DRAUGHTSPERSON

BP Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Draughtsman to support our ongoing healthcare facility expansion, renovation, and regulatory compliance projects nationwide.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise architectural, M&E, and interior layout drawings for clinics, laboratories, and healthcare facilities.
• Assist in planning submissions and documentation for CKAPS compliance and authority requirements.
• Produce as-built drawings, floor plans, renovation drawings, and construction details.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, and internal project teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with healthcare operational requirements, fire safety regulations, and authority guidelines.
• Support project execution, site measurements, and space planning for new outlets and upgrading works.
• Maintain proper drawing records and project documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma / Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Building Technology, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge in healthcare facility planning and CKAPS requirements is an added advantage.
• Familiar with authority submission drawings and renovation coordination.
• Minimum 1–3 years working experience in drafting, renovation, construction, or building projects.
• Able to work independently and meet project timelines.
• Willing to travel for site visits when required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of clinic/laboratory workflow planning.
• Understanding of fire protection and building services coordination.
• Experience in medical centre, clinic, or commercial renovation projects.
• Familiarity with SketchUp / 3D drawing software is an advantage.
