EA- Forward Deployed Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a EA- Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role is well suited for a technically strong, client-facing engineer who can turn real-world operational challenges into practical AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with external stakeholders to uncover workflow inefficiencies, shape automation opportunities, and deliver production-ready software that improves execution. The position blends hands-on engineering, solution design, and trusted advisory support in a forward-deployed model.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Embed with client organizations to assess workflows and identify AI automation opportunities
• Lead working sessions with clients to uncover pain points and develop prioritized automation roadmaps
• Design and implement agentic skills to meet client needs
• Manage the full delivery process from inception to deployment and iteration
• Serve as a technical advisor to clients, translating AI concepts clearly and guiding them through transitions
• Enhance interface and API capabilities based on client use cases
• Document designs and patterns to support scalability in future engagements

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or product management, with the ability to independently deliver production-quality software
• Experience with LLM APIs and agentic automation frameworks
• Proficiency in back-end and/or full-stack development with Python, Node.js, or .NET
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, including both consumption and design
• Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder expectations effectively
• Ability to work autonomously in a forward-deployed model
• Familiarity with Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations
