Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with GCP architecture, cloud migration, infrastructure automation, security, networking, and DevOps practices.

An active Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop cloud architecture blueprints, migration strategies, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead the migration and modernization of applications and infrastructure to GCP.
• Design solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.
• Define cloud networking, IAM, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster-recovery strategies.
• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and support automated cloud deployments.
• Work with development, DevOps, security, and business teams to translate requirements into cloud solutions.
• Review existing cloud environments and recommend improvements for performance, security, reliability, and cost.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud architecture and production issues.
• Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure solutions follow GCP best practices and organizational security standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a GCP Cloud Architect or in a similar cloud architecture role.
• Active Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of GCP compute, storage, database, networking, security, and data services.
• Experience with cloud migration, application modernization, and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GKE, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of IAM, encryption, compliance, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Pay: $80.00 per hour
