Position Overview

HB Speciality Hospital & Research Institute is seeking an accomplished and visionary Senior Consultant MS General Surgeon with specialized expertise in advanced laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgery. In this leadership role, you will manage complex surgical cases, drive clinical excellence, contribute to our research initiatives, and mentor junior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Surgical Care: Perform complex elective and emergency GI surgeries, bariatric procedures, and advanced diagnostic/therapeutic laparoscopy.
• Clinical Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary tumor/surgical boards, establish clinical protocols, and oversee post-operative care standards.
• Academic & Research Contributions: Actively participate in the research institute's clinical trials, academic lectures, and training programs for residents.
• Departmental Oversight: Collaborate with hospital administration to optimize operating theatre efficiency and upgrade surgical technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: MBBS, MS in General Surgery, followed by a recognized Fellowship or MCh/DNB in Minimal Access Surgery / GI Surgery.
• Registration: Valid medical council registration and active professional indemnity insurance.
• Experience: Minimum 7+ years of post-MS surgical experience with a proven track record of handling high-complexity cases independently.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
