MS Dynamics 365 Architect

BACKGROUND FDACS requires expert Dynamics 365 GCC Case Management and Power Platform services to operate and evolve missioncritical applications. The environment includes solutions built on Microsoft Dataverse, modeldriven and canvas Power Apps, Power Pages portals, Power Automate flows, Azure Logic Apps integrations, SharePoint Online content services, and Azure DevOps for application lifecycle management (ALM). Vendors must be Microsoftcertified partners and propose candidates with demonstrated success delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions in GCC.

SCOPE The Contractor will provide an experienced Dynamics 365 GCC Case Management Applications Architect to:

• Design, configure, and maintain Dynamics 365 Case Management solutions in GCC, including entities/tables, forms, views, business process flows, security roles, and automation.
• Design, build, and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Appsmodeldriven and canvas, Power Pages, Power Automate) using Dataverse best practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse connectors, and RESTful APIs, including integration with SharePoint Online.
• Establish and support ALM using Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, environments), including solution packaging, deployment, and environment strategies.
• Implement and enforce environment governance (development, test, production), data policies, DLP, application security, and access controls aligned to GCC and Department standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, design usercentric solutions, and implement iterative enhancements.
• Ensure solution performance, reliability, security, and compliance with Department policies and regulatory standards (including CJIS alignment as applicable).

Qualification Requirements For Contractor's Candidate FDACS requires an experienced Applications Architect with the skills and experiences listed below. This list is not exhaustive; nor are all skills required. Technical skills, written and verbal communication, and demonstrated experiences will be the basis for evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of recent experience designing and delivering solutions on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement/ Dataverse, including Case Management in GCC or equivalent regulated environments.
• Handson expertise with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate) and Dataverse schema design, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating Dynamics 365/Dataverse with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Storage), SharePoint Online, and external systems via REST/OData.
• Demonstrated ALM using Azure DevOps (work items, repos, pipelines) and solutionbased deployment between environments.
• Proven application security and governance in Microsoft 365/Dynamics 365 GCC, including rolebased access, fieldlevel security, auditing, and DLP policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer.

Preferred Experience

• Microsoft Solutions Partner for Business Applications designation at the vendor level (or equivalent Microsoft partner certification).
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert; Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate; Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (or closely related current certifications).
• Experience operating in Government Community Cloud (GCC) with awareness of FedRAMP and CJIS considerations.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and modern UX practices.
• Experience with application and data security best practices across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure.

Educational qualifications meeting at least one of the following levels:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Current Microsoft certifications relevant to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture and implementation (as listed above).

The Applications Architect will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Dynamics 365 Case Management and Power Platform solutions. Must have recent experience
• Create and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, business process flows, and security roles.
• Develop Power Automate flows, Azure Logic Apps, and custom connectors for system integrations and automation.
• Integrate with SharePoint Online for document management and collaboration.
• Establish ALM practices using Azure DevOps, including branching, solution management, pipelines, and release coordination.
• Implement monitoring and telemetry; troubleshoot issues and drive rootcause analysis and remediation.
• Coach, mentor, and train OATS team members and FDACS staff on solution usage and support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Attend and participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.
• Submit weekly project reports and time sheets.
