R.C.E (REGISTERED CIVIL ENGINEER)

About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Registered Civil Engineer (R.C.E) to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As an R.C.E, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of civil and structural engineering projects. This position is integral to maintaining our commitment to excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure and construction solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project conditions and requirements
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, designs, and technical drawings using current CAD software and industry standards
• Develop cost estimates and project schedules for civil and structural engineering works
• Oversee construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved designs and safety regulations
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects
• Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and tender documents
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and quality standards
• Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineering staff

What we're looking for

• Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) registration and licensure as a Registered Civil Engineer
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in civil or structural engineering
• Strong proficiency with CAD software and other engineering design tools
• Excellent knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations
• Demonstrated expertise in structural design, analysis, and construction methodologies
• Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience with infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) or related technologies is preferred
