Job Description – HSSE Executive

Department: Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)
Location: KHANDWA
Project: BPCL

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSSE policies, PNGRB regulations, and contractual safety requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and preventive checks at Retail Outlets.
• Identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and monitor compliance.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency mock drills.
• Maintain and update Emergency Response & Disaster Management Plans (ERDMP).
• Train dealers and staff on emergency response procedures and safety equipment.
• Prepare HSSE reports, incident records, and training documentation.
• Coordinate with regional HSSE teams to implement safety best practices.
• Travel extensively to BPCL Retail Outlets as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSSE certification preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of PNGRB regulations, LOTO, Permit-to-Work (PTW), PPE, and emergency response.
• Good communication, reporting, and training skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
