Search Engine Optimization Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team in improving website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization, content marketing, keyword research, and website analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
• Assist with on-page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
• Support off-page SEO and link-building activities.
• Perform competitor and SERP analysis.
• Assist in creating and optimizing SEO-friendly content.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and website performance.
• Identify basic technical SEO issues and coordinate with the relevant teams for fixes.
• Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Prepare regular SEO reports and track campaign performance.
• Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and current SEO best practices.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
• Familiarity with keyword research and on-page SEO.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML, WordPress, or content management systems is an advantage.
