Your Task

As a Senior Java Developer, you will work in a dynamic, flat, and international organization shaping the future of Deutsche Telekom IT. You will be part of integrated SCRUM teams focused on transitioning from monolithic systems to a decoupled API architecture, migrating from on-premise setups to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and working with cutting-edge technologies in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and maintain existing source code of applications
• Work in SCRUM team on developing and building complex application solutions for customer DTAG
• Serve as professional mentor for junior and medior developers
• Listen to user requests and consult with internal/external customers and project managers
• Analyze customer's requirements and propose overall application/framework design of midsize application architecture (including interfaces and relational database structure)
• Provide complex business analysis to build application functionality
• Provide project estimates and timeline including total number of development hours, testing hours, and bug fixing, and report to customer for budget planning in advance
• Implement customer's requirements based on specification in selected object-oriented programming language into functional and user-friendly applications
• Provide testing of programmed functionality before deployment to avoid bugs and ensure quality of code
• Implement security concept according to PSA policy in developed applications to ensure accordance with DTAG standards
• Take part in internal evaluation processes
• Take product responsibility from technology point of view
• Negotiate with PO/PM about technology stacks used in project

Your Profile

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in developing complex solutions using Java and Spring Boot, strong educational background in IT, and excellent soft skills for agile team collaboration.

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Information Technologies
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the development of complex solutions
• Experience in application programming with object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with Java programming
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with agile software development methodology (e.g., Scrum)
• Advanced knowledge of Programming
• Advanced knowledge of HW/SW Overview
• Advanced knowledge of General IT Overview
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills
• Team cooperation skills
• English language proficiency at least B2 level

Nice to Have Skills

• Frontend development experience with Angular
• Frontend development experience with React
• Experience with testing tools or frameworks
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Experience with Git
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google)

Salary: 3100 - 3700 EUR / brutto

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3100 EUR /brutto.
