Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to provide freelance, on-demand technical support in Riyadh.

The role will involve managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise servers and IT infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application-related issues.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure services.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Support virtualization environments and enterprise infrastructure.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve technical incidents.
• Maintain system documentation and technical procedures.
• Provide on-site technical support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system administration or system engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, or Linux certifications are preferred.
• Must be available to work on an on-demand freelance basis in Riyadh.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
