We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern who wants to learn practical search engine optimization, improve website visibility on Google, and contribute to organic traffic growth for real-world projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform keyword research to identify primary, secondary, and long-tail keywords.
• Assist in on-page SEO activities, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
• Support technical SEO activities, including sitemap checks, robots.txt reviews, indexing checks, and website audits.
• Assist in optimizing website content, landing pages, and blogs for search engines.
• Conduct competitor analysis and identify keyword and content opportunities.
• Help prepare SEO-friendly blog topics, content briefs, and website copy.
• Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Work with SEO tools such as Google Keyword Planner, Google Trends, and other available keyword research tools.
• Assist with off-page SEO activities, including relevant backlink research and outreach.
• Support local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimization where applicable.
• Track keyword rankings, organic clicks, impressions, and website traffic.
• Prepare weekly SEO activity reports and maintain keyword tracking sheets.
• Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, search trends, and evolving AI search practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engines.
• Familiarity with keyword research and website optimization.
• Basic knowledge of HTML tags such as title, meta description, H1, and H2.
• Good research, analytical, and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Willingness to learn SEO tools, analytics, and content optimization techniques.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Students or graduates in Computer Applications, IT, Marketing, Business Administration, English, or related disciplines.
• Candidates who have completed an SEO course or personal SEO project will have an advantage.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Rank Math is desirable but not mandatory.
