SEO Specialist (3–4 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our fast-growing startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, generate qualified leads, and increase search rankings. This role requires someone who can independently own the SEO function and contribute to our long-term digital growth.

Experience Required

• ⁠ ⁠3–4 years of proven experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

• ⁠ ⁠Experience working with startups, B2B companies, agencies, or service-based businesses is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• ⁠ ⁠Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies.

• ⁠ ⁠Perform advanced keyword research and search intent analysis.

• ⁠ ⁠Optimize website architecture, landing pages, blogs, and metadata for maximum search visibility.

• ⁠ ⁠Conduct technical SEO audits and work with developers to resolve crawl, indexing, and performance issues.

• ⁠ ⁠Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and overall website health.

• ⁠ ⁠Plan and execute ethical link-building and digital PR campaigns.

• ⁠ ⁠Collaborate with content writers to create high-performing SEO content.

• ⁠ ⁠Monitor Google Search Console, GA4, and other SEO tools to identify growth opportunities.

• ⁠ ⁠Analyze competitors and develop strategies to outperform them.

• ⁠ ⁠Track organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion metrics.

• ⁠ ⁠Prepare monthly SEO performance reports with actionable recommendations.

• ⁠ ⁠Stay updated on Google’s algorithm updates, AI-powered search trends, and SEO best practices.

• ⁠ ⁠Mentor junior marketing team members on SEO fundamentals when required.

Required Skills

• ⁠ ⁠Strong expertise in On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO.

• ⁠ ⁠Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.

• ⁠ ⁠Hands-on experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or similar.

• ⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript SEO basics, and WordPress or other CMS platforms.

• ⁠ ⁠Experience with schema markup, structured data, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonicalization.

• ⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• ⁠ ⁠Ability to independently manage SEO campaigns and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Skills

• ⁠ ⁠Experience in B2B lead generation and service-based businesses.

• ⁠ ⁠Knowledge of Local SEO and International SEO.

• ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with AI-assisted SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI search optimization.

• ⁠ ⁠Basic understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).

• ⁠ ⁠Experience collaborating with content, design, and development teams.
