What they need
Technical Skills
Strong hands on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark PySpark Scala
Proficiency in SQL and Python
Deep understanding of Delta Lake ETL frameworks and data lakes
Experience with cloud platforms Azure AWS GCP including network and security concepts
Knowledge of CICD Infrastructure as Code Terraform and automation for data platforms
Experience
812 years of experience in data engineering or platform architecture roles
Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise scale Databricks platforms
Experience working with analytics BI and ML use cases on Databricks
Preferred Qualifications
Databricks certifications Data Engineer Spark Developer or Architect
Experience with MLflow Feature Store or Databricks SQL
Exposure to streaming platforms Kafka Event Hubs Kinesis
Prior experience in consulting or multi client enterprise environments
Behavioral Leadership Competencies
Strong architectural thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to balance hands on execution with strategic design
Ownership mindset for platform stability quality and cost
