Supervisor for Team SEO and Content

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the SEO and Content teams, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of assigned deliverables.
• Develop and oversee integrated SEO and content strategies aligned with the company’s marketing, branding, traffic, and business objectives.
• Assign tasks, establish priorities, set deadlines, and monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs and deliverables.
• Lead the execution of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, keyword optimization, internal linking, external linking, and link-building initiatives.
• Conduct and oversee keyword research, competitor analysis, search-intent analysis, content gap analysis, and SEO audits.
• Develop and manage the SEO content calendar, ensuring consistent production of relevant and search-optimized content.
• Supervise the creation, editing, and optimization of articles, blogs, landing pages, product descriptions, website copy, and other digital content.
• Review content for quality, accuracy, grammar, brand consistency, originality, search intent, and SEO optimization before publication.
• Ensure proper optimization of titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, images, keywords, anchor texts, and internal linking structures.
• Coordinate with Web Development and IT teams to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, including crawling, indexing, broken links, redirects, page speed, mobile usability, and website structure.
• Monitor website performance and SEO results using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other relevant tools.
• Track key performance indicators such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, impressions, clicks, engagement, conversions, backlinks, indexed pages, and content performance.
• Analyze underperforming pages and content and develop optimization, refresh, consolidation, or corrective strategies to improve results.
• Conduct regular quality audits of SEO and content outputs and ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and best practices.
• Coach, mentor, and provide technical guidance to SEO Specialists, SEO Assistants, Content Writers, and other team members under the function.
• Identify individual and team performance gaps and implement appropriate coaching, training, and improvement plans.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to discuss progress, challenges, priorities, and action plans.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports covering SEO results, content production, completed initiatives, challenges, and recommended next steps.
• Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes, SEO trends, content marketing practices, competitor strategies, and emerging digital marketing opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Social Media, E-commerce, Operations, and Web Development teams to ensure SEO and content initiatives support broader company objectives.
• Ensure the team demonstrates ownership, accountability, productivity, and adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure that SEO and content activities translate into measurable improvements in organic visibility, website traffic, engagement, search rankings, lead generation, and conversions.
