Job Description:

We are conducting a hiring drive for CAD Designers with hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6 and mechanical design activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models using CATIA V5/V6.
• Prepare 2D engineering drawings and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Work on part modelling, assembly design and design modifications.
• Understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
• Support engineering changes and maintain design documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in CATIA V5 or V6 is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• Knowledge of part modelling and assembly design.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.

Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering.

Experience: 13 years of relevant CAD design experience.

Location: Chennai.

Notice Period: Immediate joiners, 15 days or 30 days' notice only.

Candidates with experience in automotive, mechanical product design, sheet metal, plastics, BIW, fixtures or general mechanical design are welcome to apply.

Mandatory Skills: CATIA V5/V6, 3D Modelling, 2D Drawings.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6, 3D Modelling and 2D Engineering Drawings. Must have knowledge of part modelling, assembly design, engineering drawings and basic GD&T. Candidates from automotive, mechanical product design, sheet metal, plastics, BIW, fixtures or general mechanical design backgrounds are preferred. Diploma/BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering.

Candidates must be based in or willing to work in Chennai and should be available to join immediately or within 15–30 days.
