What they need
Product: Agricultural payroll / labor tracking (time & attendance, piece-rate, job costing, biometrics, device sync, payroll export). Domain: ag labor, wage compliance, multi-department ops.
Must-have tech
- C# / .NET Framework 4.8
- WinForms (large multi-form desktop apps)
- SQL Server (complex schemas, multi-DB; licensing)
- Comfort with legacy enterprise code (custom ORM, not EF-first; large forms / business-rule heavy)
Core frameworks / libraries
- Custom ORM (TableBase / SQL builders) + some EF Core / EF6, Dapper
- Autofac (DI)
- ASP.NET MVC / Web API (Dashboard)
- MSTest (+ ApprovalTests)
- log4net, Newtonsoft.Json, CsvHelper
Major third-party / integrations
- Crystal Reports
- Excel (Interop) / accounting export providers
- Azure Blob Storage
- Google Maps
- Twilio
- Device / biometrics SDKs (e.g. FingerTec, HandPunch / recognition systems), barcode (ZXing)
- Optional: Oracle client paths, Application Insights
Nice to have
- Windows services, installer / packaging, bilingual (en/es) UI
- Payroll / HR / timekeeping domain
- Experience modernizing WinForms web (Go + React/Vite) active cloud migration
- Experience with Mobile app development (Android, iOS)
