Bundeena CSC is seeking a passionate and reliable Chef or experienced Cook to join our kitchen team in a full-time position.

This is an exciting time to join the Club, with a million-dollar renovation commencing shortly, including the installation of a brand-new commercial kitchen. You’ll have the opportunity to work with new equipment, contribute ideas and become part of the next chapter of a successful dining destination in the Sutherland Shire.

About the role

You will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the Bundeena CSC kitchen, helping us deliver a consistently enjoyable dining experience for our members, guests and visitors.

Working as part of a supportive kitchen team, you will prepare and present quality meals, maintain high operational standards and contribute to the continued development of the Club’s food offering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting consistently high-quality meals
• Supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene
• Assisting with preparation, stock rotation and waste control
• Following recipes, portioning guidelines and presentation standards
• Contributing ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Performing effectively during busy service periods
• Working across a hospitality roster, including weekends and split shifts when required

About you

We are looking for someone who brings energy, reliability and a genuine passion for food.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Between one and three years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
• Relevant cookery qualifications for Chef applicants
• A strong commitment to producing quality, consistent food
• The ability to work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment
• High standards of food safety, cleanliness and personal presentation
• A positive, professional and team-focused attitude
• The initiative to work with minimal supervision when required
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• The ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure
• Availability to work weekends and split shifts when required
• A willingness to contribute ideas and help the kitchen continue to evolve
