Location: Misrata , Libya

Salary: 21,000 USD per annum with free accommodation and free transportation Myn is expanding and currently hiring a CSSD Technician to join one of Libya's leading cardiovascular centres.

About the Role We are recruiting a skilled CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) Technician to join the sterilisation team at a leading cardiovascular centre in Libya. You will play a key role in patient safety by making sure surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilised and ready for use in cardiac procedures and operating theatres.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, decontaminate and clean used surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect, assemble and package instrument sets, including cardiac and cardiovascular surgical trays
• Operate and monitor sterilisation equipment such as autoclaves, washer-disinfectors and low-temperature sterilisers
• Carry out routine quality checks, including biological and chemical indicator testing
• Keep accurate records for traceability, batch tracking and sterilisation cycles
• Store and distribute sterile supplies to the operating theatres, cath lab and other departments
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols and safety standards at all times
• Report equipment faults and support routine maintenance

Requirements

• Completed CSSD training programme
• Decontamination and sterilisation certification programme
• Basic knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a CSSD or sterile processing department
• Experience with surgical instruments, ideally in a cardiac or operating theatre setting
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good working knowledge of English (Arabic is an advantage)
• Willingness to relocate to Libya
