Industrial Automation Engineer (Trainer)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Trainer to deliver practical, hands-on training to engineering trainees and technical professionals. In this role, you will instruct and mentor students in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI design, VFD configuration, and industrial control systems to make them job-ready for modern automation industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interactive classroom and lab training on major industrial PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider).
• Train students in PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text) and hardware integration.
• Guide hands-on sessions for HMI/SCADA development, VFD parameter tuning, and sensor/actuator field wiring.
• Teach industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and smart factory concepts (Industry 4.0).
• Evaluate trainee projects, design practical assessments, and guide candidates through mock technical interviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Mastery: Expertise in leading PLC software platforms (Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000, or Mitsubishi GX Works) and SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, Wonderware).
• Hardware & Field Experience: Practical knowledge of control panel wiring, VFD configuration, relay logic, pneumatics/hydraulics, and industrial instrumentation.
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on industrial automation or technical training experience with strong communication and facilitation skills.
