Position Overview

PCS is looking for a Structured Cabling Technician for our thriving market in Cincinnati, OH. PCS is looking for candidates who are experienced within the Structured Cabling industry utilizing BICSI, NEC, and industry standards. BICSI and manufacturer certifications are great; we also provide training and certification opportunities.

PCS provides the following services to our clients:

• Category 6 & 6A structured cabling solutions
• Indoor, underground, & ariel fiber optic solutions
• IP video camera surveillance solutions
• Access control solutions
• Audio/Video solutions
• Overhead paging solutions
• Sound masking solutions

PCS serves a variety of commercial customers including new and existing construction, warehouses, office buildings, schools, stadiums, and more!

In this position you will:

• Rough-in cables in various environments such as ceiling spaces, conduits, or basket tray
• Build support structures and pathways, pull cables, drop cable down thru walls.
• Pull and route cables in new construction and existing structure commercial and production environments.
• Terminate cables and data jacks.
• Build Closets
• Perform fire stopping procedures
• Install support structures (ladder tray, racks, j-hooks.
• Label cables, faceplates, and patch panels.

You may be a great fit with these requirements:

• Ability to handle physical workload. Physical demands include but not limited to standing, walking, or driving for long periods of time, work from high places, climb ladders, and navigate through small tight areas; and lift up to 50 – 80 lbs. without assistance.
• Pass background check and 10 panel drug screen
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Teammates may be required to work nights, weekends and / or travel depending on project requirements.
