• Receiving & transfer of patients with all safety norms.

• Sending sample (post operative) for diagnostic evaluation as per requirement

• Providing comfort measures give pschycological support to the patient

• Taking care of elimination

• Help & do positioning of the patient for different surgery

• Attaining in-service education.

• Collect sutures & expensive disposablesinstruments & return back the un-used materials after surgery.

• Help & do positioning of the patient for different surgery

• Lays the instruments for the case before surgery & maintains a count list.

• Assist the surgeon during surgery.

• Cleaning of instrumentsdisinfection & packing for sterilization.

• Assist scrub nurse during surgery.

• Working as a circulating nurse

• Assist in recovery room management

• Clean & give handover of instruments &other surgical items to CSSD for sterilization.

• Observing the patient condition & take prompt action

• Keeping surgery record & maintain surgery checklist. Keeping update record

• Helping in taking OT inventory both instrument & consumables

• Receive sterile item from CSSD to OT.

• Check sterile items Expiry & maintain FIFO ( first in & first out)
