Server Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and responsible Server Assistant to join our team at Wagyu Factory Oakland. This role is a key part of our front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables quickly and correctly
• Keep the dining room, service stations, and guest areas clean and organized
• Restock plates, utensils, napkins, cups, and other service supplies
• Remove trash and dirty dishes throughout the shift
• Support servers and other team members during busy service periods
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Communicate promptly with management regarding spills, maintenance issues, or guest concerns

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
