Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and responsible Server to join our team at Wagyu Factory Oakland. This role is a key part of our front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

• Wage: Starting at $17.34 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Grill and serve meats accurately per guest preferences, with attention to quality and safety
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages with proper presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and all guest-facing spaces
• Handle cash and card transactions following proper cash handling procedures
• Stay up to date on menu items and ingredients, including allergy and dietary info
• Follow daily checklists, SOPs, opening/closing procedures, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with teammates and managers
• Be punctual, responsive to scheduling, and prepared to perform under pressure

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a large fast-paced restaurant, preferably with Barbeque or Japanese cuisine
• Demonstrates effective oral & written communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
• Passion for providing top-tier service and creating a memorable dining experience
• Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
• Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
