Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Hostel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property in Bohol. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to hospitality operations, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Property Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the entire property, including rooms, dormitories, villas, restaurant/bar, offices, common areas, parking, and swimming pools.
• Supervise department heads and on-site staff, including Front Office, Maintenance, F&B, Housekeeping, Security, and Pool/Lifeguard teams.
• Ensure the property is clean, safe, well-maintained, and ready for guests.
• Oversee water systems, pumps, desalination facilities, and other essential property operations.
• Ensure compliance with DENR requirements, safety standards, permits, and government regulations.

Guest Experience

• Ensure guests receive excellent service and have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
• Monitor guest feedback and reviews and address concerns promptly.
• Plan guest activities and events and build partnerships with local businesses and communities in Bohol.
• Help create unique and memorable experiences for guests.

Financial & Revenue Management

• Work with the Revenue Manager to improve occupancy, sales, and overall property revenue.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures.
• Coordinate with the Finance & Accounting team for financial reporting and compliance.

Sales & Marketing

• Work closely with the Marketing and Social Media teams to promote the property and its services.
• Provide ideas and insights to increase visibility, bookings, and guest engagement.

People Management

• Handle on-site HR matters, including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff concerns.
• Build a positive, professional, and productive working environment.
• Ensure staff follow company policies and service standards.

Government & Business Coordination

• Coordinate with local government offices regarding permits, licenses, and compliance.
• Work closely with tour operators, diving partners, and other businesses to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding property performance and operational matters.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in hotel, resort, hostel, or property management.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Good understanding of hospitality operations and guest service.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Hands-on and willing to be involved in daily property operations.
• Experience with government compliance and permits is an advantage.
• Bohol-based or willing to relocate to Bohol.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: ₱55,000–₱70,000/month, depending on experience and skills.

Pay: Php55,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
