Operator

Menzner Hardwoods Company is seeking long-term career employees interested in production/manufacturing for Resaw Operator roles. We are looking for hardworking, motivated, and dependable employees. Machine operator experience is not required, we will train.

Duties may include setting up the resaw for desired angles and thicknesses. The operator makes sure the automated resaw is oiled and that their is no maintenance needed. Inspects finished products for compliance with all quality requirements.

Qualifications: Candidates must be 18 years old, physically capable of lifting/maneuvering up to 30 lbs regularly, be capable of standing for 8 hours/shift, work well with coworkers in a team environment. Knowledge of LOTO and mechanical skills preferred.

First Shift Hours: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday. Second Shift Hours: 2:30 pm -10:30 pm, Monday-Friday. The shift includes a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours are required as production needs arise, which typically involve working 9-hour shifts during the week, and an occasional 6-hour shift on Saturdays.
