Paramedic – DCAS / DoH Licensed

Best Ways Medical Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) to join our emergency medical services team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The successful candidate will provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care, assess and stabilize critically ill or injured patients, and perform advanced life support interventions in accordance with DoH Abu Dhabi regulations and the authorized scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced patient assessments and emergency clinical evaluations.
• Provide Advanced Life Support (ALS), CPR, and resuscitation within the authorized scope of practice.
• Manage medical emergencies, trauma cases, and critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and perform advanced clinical procedures as authorized.
• Monitor vital signs and support patient stabilization and safe transportation.
• Operate and check advanced ambulance medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with emergency departments, physicians, EMTs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow DoH protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services / Paramedicine or equivalent, with a minimum three-year course duration.
• Valid DoH Abu Dhabi Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) license or applicable eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of experience after registration/certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic.
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid trauma certification: PHTLS or ITLS.
• Strong knowledge of advanced life support, emergency assessment, trauma management, and pre-hospital care.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work full-time shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE with valid DoH licensing or eligibility are preferred.
