Concrete Foreman

We are looking for a Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise the concrete crew, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with blueprints, safety standards, and project timelines. The foreman will manage daily on-site operations, coordinate crew activities, maintain equipment, and communicate with project managers or superintendents to support project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the concrete team, including laborers, carpenters, concrete finishers, and other construction workers. Assign tasks, provide instructions, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in planning and scheduling concrete pours, formwork, reinforcement, and finishing processes. Ensure resources, tools, and equipment are available and ready for each project stage.
• Monitor concrete work for accuracy, ensuring it meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure all safety protocols and company safety policies are followed on-site.
• Manage and track concrete, tools, and other materials needed for the project.
• Ensure that all supplies are delivered on time and stored properly by working with the project manager to place orders and manage inventory.
• Make certain the crew is on schedule to meet project deadlines.
• Provide updates to project managers and report any issues or delays that could affect the project timeline.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of experience working in concrete construction, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to read blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of concrete materials, techniques, and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best construction practices.
• Travel of at least 20% is required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, and a CDL is a plus.
