Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate (Smyrna, TN) to work on a contract basis. The position supports warehouse operations for a major furniture retailer located in Smyrna, Tennessee. Responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding safety standards throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

• Stock merchandise onto warehouse racks and retail floor displays according to planograms.

• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for timely shipment or store transfer.

• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with safety protocols.

• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lb repeatedly throughout the shift.

• Experience operating forklifts or other powered warehouse equipment safely.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic data entry.

• Strong attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory tracking.

• Consistent attendance and punctuality to meet shift schedules and operational demands.
