Junior Demand Planning Manager

Job Description

• Support the development and maintenance of accurate volume forecasts for the Home Care category in Greece.
• Consolidate demand inputs from Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Strategy & Planning teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Bias, identify deviations, investigate root causes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, including forecast reviews, Business Warehouse (BW) activities, and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain recurring demand planning reports, dashboards, and presentations for business reviews and decision-making.
• Analyze historical data, market trends, promotional activities, product launches, and other demand drivers to improve forecast quality.
• Assist with innovation planning and portfolio transitions, ensuring timely forecast creation and tracking key assumptions.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities, proactively escalating significant gaps and deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Support demand and supply reconciliation by highlighting potential risks related to product availability, customer service levels, and inventory management.
• Generate actionable business insights through data analysis using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other planning and reporting tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain relevant forecasting parameters and master data.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Planning, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, and Customer Strategy & Planning teams.
• Contribute to improving forecast quality, product availability, service levels, and inventory management.

Candidate’s Profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Analytics, Commercial Planning, or a similar business function.
• Previous experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is a strong advantage.
• Basic understanding of forecasting methodologies and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
• Strong analytical skills, including KPI monitoring, data interpretation, and the ability to translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI.
• Experience with SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, SAP IBP, or similar planning systems is an advantage.
• Ability to identify forecast deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
