Mission Context
The G4 requires contractor support for Operational Contract Support acquisition analysis, contract integration, and command contract portfolio management, supporting logistics operations across supply, munitions, maintenance, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and track operational contract support requirements across the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Support contract integration planning, ensuring contracted support aligns with operational plans and command logistics priorities.
  • Maintain visibility of the command's contract portfolio, tracking contract status, performance, and risk.
  • Coordinate with contracting officers, program managers, and logistics staff on OCS requirements and issues.
  • Support development of OCS-related planning products, briefings, and after-action reviews.

Note: The Government's solicitation does not itemize detailed day-to-day tasks for this labor category (confirmed via FAQ: the Government will not provide detailed education, experience, certification, or specialized-skill requirements per labor category). The duties above reflect standard industry expectations for this role combined with the PWS's stated mission and functional-support narrative for G4 (Logistics).
Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience in operational contract support, contracting, or acquisition analysis within a military or DoD environment.
  • Working knowledge of DoD contract integration planning processes (e.g., Joint Publication 4-10 OCS doctrine).
  • Strong analytical and briefing skills; comfort working across contracting, logistics, and operations staff.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard DoD logistics/contract tracking tools.

Security & Compliance Requirements (per PWS)

  • SECRET clearance required.
  • Note: The RFQ's Schedule of Supplies/Services references this position as “Acquisition Analyst” (4 FTE) — confirm authoritative title via RFI before finalizing job postings.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (contractor personnel performing work under this contract shall be U.S. citizens unless AR 25-2 provisions are fully completed and the Government grants approval for a non-U.S. citizen).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively, in person and electronically, with co-workers, customers, and the public.
  • Must obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within 10 workdays of contract award commencement; CAC issuance requires, at minimum, a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or higher per Army Directive 2014-05.
  • May NOT begin substantive work while CAC or system access is pending — this is a hard gate under this contract.
  • Must complete Anti-Terrorism (AT) Level I awareness training within 30 calendar days of commencing performance.
  • Must complete iWATCH training within 30 calendar days of contract award (new employees: within 10 calendar days of start, reported within 15 calendar days).
  • Must register in the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) and complete DoD Information Assurance Awareness training prior to accessing Government information systems, and annually thereafter.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and conduct standard at all times (business casual or formal attire per USARCENT Headquarters Dress Code Policy); may not perform work under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other incapacitating agents.
  • This is a non-personal-services position: the employee is accountable to the Contractor, not directly supervised by the Government.
