SAP BTP RAP Developer

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP RAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP Fiori Elements to design and develop modern, cloud-ready SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) , SAP BTP, CDS Views, OData, and Fiori Elements, with experience delivering enterprise-grade SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) .
• Design and develop SAP Fiori Elements applications using List Report, Object Page, and other floorplans.
• Build and consume OData V4 services and expose RAP business objects for Fiori applications.
• Develop and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) Views , including associations, compositions, annotations, and metadata extensions.
• Work with SAP BTP services and cloud-based SAP application development.
• Implement RAP behavior definitions, behavior implementations, validations, determinations, actions, and draft functionality.
• Develop and customize Fiori Elements applications using annotations and extensions where required.
• Integrate SAP applications with other systems using OData, REST APIs, and BTP integration capabilities .
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Perform debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and production support.
• Follow SAP development standards, security practices, and clean-core principles.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of SAP development experience , with strong recent hands-on experience in RAP.
• Strong experience with ABAP RAP / RESTful Application Programming Model .
• Hands-on experience developing SAP Fiori Elements applications.
• Strong knowledge of CDS Views, CDS annotations, metadata extensions, and data modeling .
• Experience with OData V4 services .
• Strong ABAP development skills, including modern ABAP syntax.
• Experience with SAP BTP and cloud application development.
• Experience with RAP managed and unmanaged scenarios , behavior definitions, determinations, validations, actions, and draft handling.
• Experience with SAP Fiori Elements floorplans such as List Report and Object Page .
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and Clean Core principles.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
