Senior Piping Designer / Draftsman - E3D

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D piping models using AVEVA E3D / PDMS.
• Route piping based on P&IDs, plot plans, equipment layouts and piping specifications.
• Create models of pipes, valves, fittings, equipment connections and piping supports.
• Ensure proper access, operation, maintenance space and ease of construction.
• Prepare and extract piping GA drawings, layouts, isometric drawings and MTOs from the 3D model.
• Check equipment nozzle directions and piping connections.
• Coordinate with Piping Stress, Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.
• Take part in 3D model reviews, identify clashes and resolve design issues.
• Include stress analysis requirements, support locations and flexibility requirements in piping layouts.
• Review vendor drawings and add package equipment to the plant model.
• Update models and drawings based on engineering comments and project changes.
• Maintain model quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable piping standards.

Qualification and Experience

• DAE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of piping design experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical or EPC/EPCC projects.
• Strong practical experience with AVEVA E3D / PDMS is essential.
• Proven experience in refinery and process plant piping layouts and 3D modelling with different engineering disciplines.

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
