ポジション概要

建設部門ディレクターとして、日本国内の高圧（HV）および特別高圧（SHV）太陽光発電・BESSプロジェクトの建設全体を統括していただきます。

プロジェクト開発チーム、技術チーム、サプライヤー、EPCコントラクター、外部パートナーと密接に連携しながら、プロジェクトを安全かつ効率的に、予算内・スケジュール内で完工へ導いていただく重要なポジションです。

主な業務内容

• 日本国内の太陽光発電およびBESSプロジェクトの建設管理全般
• EPC企業、建設会社、機器メーカー、サプライヤーの選定・評価・管理
• RFQ（見積依頼書）の作成および調達プロセスの管理
• 契約交渉および契約締結における法務・調達チームとの連携
• 建設スケジュール、納期、資材供給計画の策定および管理
• プロジェクト予算および建設キャッシュフローの監督
• 建設現場における品質・安全・工程管理
• 建設進捗状況のモニタリングおよびマイルストーン承認
• ステークホルダーへの定期的なレポーティング
• リスク管理および課題解決の主導
• 社内外チームのマネジメントおよびリーダーシップの発揮
• 将来的な事業拡大に伴う建設組織の強化・構築

応募資格

• 太陽光発電、再生可能エネルギー、電力インフラ分野における建設管理経験
• 日本国内での太陽光発電またはBESSプロジェクト経験
• EPC管理、サプライヤー管理、契約管理経験
• 高圧（HV）または特別高圧（SHV）プロジェクト経験歓迎
• ビジネスレベルの日本語力
• ビジネスレベルの英語力
• 普通自動車運転免許
• 4年以上の関連業務経験
• チームマネジメント経験
• 高いコミュニケーション能力と問題解決能力

Director of Construction

Company Overview

Our client is a rapidly growing renewable energy developer and independent power producer with operations across Asia. The business focuses on the development, construction, ownership, and operation of solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets, supporting the region's transition to sustainable energy infrastructure.

Due to continued expansion within the Japanese market and a growing pipeline of utility-scale renewable energy projects, the company is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead project execution activities.

Position Summary

The Director of Construction will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects across Japan, including high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (SHV) assets.

This role will work closely with technical, development, procurement, legal, engineering, and external construction partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the construction and delivery of solar PV and BESS projects across Japan
• Identify, evaluate, and manage EPC contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Manage tendering processes, RFQs, and contractor selection
• Coordinate commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers and construction partners
• Oversee procurement schedules and supply chain activities
• Monitor project budgets, forecasting, and construction cash flow
• Supervise construction activities and site performance
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
• Review and certify project milestones and contractor deliverables
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Provide regular reporting to senior management and key stakeholders
• Lead and mentor internal teams while driving a culture of execution excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
• Experience managing solar PV, renewable energy, or power infrastructure projects within Japan
• Demonstrated experience overseeing EPC contractors and construction activities
• Strong understanding of HV or SHV transmission-connected projects
• Business-level Japanese language proficiency
• Business-level English language proficiency
• Valid driver's license
• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant construction or project delivery experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
