Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, calibration, adjustment, and repair of surveying instruments.
• Verify and test software functionality.
• Prepare repair reports and technical documentation.
• Explain repair findings and work performed to customers.
• Provide technical guidance and support to service partners.
• Diagnose technical issues, recommend repair solutions, and prepare cost estimates.
• Maintain and manage the workshop environment and equipment.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Service Team in Switzerland.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in repair and maintenance activities.
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high standard of quality.
• Analytical mindset and technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.

Location and Working Conditions

• Based at our Tokyo office.
• Business travel is minimal.
• Occasional international travel may be required for training or business purposes.
