Key Responsibilities

• Monthly Close & Reporting: Manage the month-end closing process, prepare month-end packs, and report financial results to senior and management.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Lead the preparation of financial statements for the Korea entity; handle complex journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Statutory & Global Compliance: Prepare financial reports tailored to local government/statutory requirements as well as global reporting standards.
• Treasury & Fund Repatriation: Oversee cash management (short/long-term cash flow forecasting, monthly cash reconciliations) and ensure compliant fund repatriation out of Korea.
• External Audit Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating team schedules and resolving audit queries for year-end audits.
• Optimization & Automation: Address daily/monthly accounting issues, document and automate financial reporting/closing/analysis, and support global process standardization.
• System Administration: Manage the Concur system to ensure compliance with the Global T&E policy and enhance process efficiency.
• Actionable Insights: Drive corrective actions and recommend changes to systems, processes, or training based on financial analyses.
• Reporting to Global Controller in UK and 1 direct report

Mandatory Requirements

• 15+ years of finance/accounting experience in multinational manufacturing companies
• Professional/Fluent Business English
