Senior Account Manager

About the Role

Smybo is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager – DSA to drive business growth through the Direct Selling Agent (DSA) channel within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing DSA partnerships, expanding the channel network, driving revenue, and ensuring strong stakeholder relationships across Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the DSA (Direct Selling Agent) channel for insurance products.

Develop and maintain relationships with existing DSA partners, brokers, and channel associates.

Identify, onboard, and activate new DSA partners to expand business reach.

Drive sales targets, revenue growth, and channel profitability.

Monitor partner performance and implement strategies to improve productivity.

Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and customer support teams for seamless policy issuance.

Conduct regular training and engagement programs for DSA partners on products and sales processes.

Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify business opportunities.

Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance reviews for management.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience in Channel Sales / DSA Sales within the Insurance industry.

Strong experience managing Direct Selling Agents (DSA), POS, or distribution partners.

Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

Excellent relationship management and partner engagement skills.

Good understanding of insurance products, distribution models, and regulatory practices.

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Background

Experience in Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance, or InsurTech organizations.

Existing network of DSA partners in Mumbai will be an added advantage.
