Account Executive

• Handle daily accounting transactions for the bakery business, including recording sales, expenses, purchases and related accounting entries
• Manage accounts payable, including reviewing supplier invoices and arranging payments
• Reconcile daily outlet sales and POS transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit Singapore GST returns on a monthly or quarterly basis, as required
• Prepare monthly basic financial reports, including income and expense statements and profit and loss statements
• Assist in monitoring ingredient costs and inventory, and promptly report any discrepancies or unusual variances
• Liaise with and assist the external accounting firm with year-end closing, tax filing and other statutory matters
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience; experience in the bakery, F&B or retail industry will be an advantage
• Basic understanding ofSingapore GST requirements and filing procedures
• Proficient inMicrosoft Excel
• Good attention to detail with a strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
