Job Title: Accountant – Tally & GST

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with good working knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, and day-to-day accounting operations.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling routine accounting work, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Handle purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
• Prepare GST working and assist with filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Perform GST reconciliation, including GSTR-2B and Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Handle bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Assist with TDS calculations, deductions, and related compliance.
• Coordinate with CA for GST returns, income tax, and annual accounts.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.

Required Skills

• Good practical knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9.
• Strong understanding of GST accounting and compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Practical experience in GST-related work is essential.

Salary: Based on experience and skills.
