About the Company

Maruti Exim is a Surat-based textile export company engaged in fabric procurement, outsourced processing, and international trade across multiple product lines.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure GST compliance, handle vendor and customer accounts, and support the management with accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Accounting

• Maintain books of accounts including ledger, journal, receipts, payments, and contra entries
• Process purchase invoices, vendor payments, and customer receipts on time
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliation
• Manage petty cash and expense reimbursements

GST & Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B returns accurately and on time
• Generate E-Invoices and E-Way Bills as applicable
• Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase records
• Coordinate with CA / tax consultant for TDS, advance tax, and annual filings

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Maintain customer-wise outstanding statements and follow up on collections
• Track vendor ageing and ensure timely payments within due dates
• Maintain advance tracking and reconciliation with vendors and customers

Export Accounting

• Book export invoices, maintain forex (USD/EUR) entries and realization records
• Track FIRC / BRC receipts and maintain export registers
• Coordinate with CHA / freight forwarders for documentation and cost booking

Costing & MIS

• Assist in container-wise or order-wise costing (freight, packing, processing)
• Prepare monthly MIS reports — P&L summary, receivables, payables, cash position
• Support management with ad hoc financial data and analysis

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA, Experience2–5 years in accounting (textile / trading preferred) SoftwareTally ERP / Prime; MS Excel (intermediate), GST Knowledge Hands-on with GSTR-1, 3B, E-Invoice, E-Way Bill Export Knowledge Basic understanding of export documentation and forex entries, Language Hindi & Gujarati preferred; English for written communication

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in a textile trading or export company
• Familiarity with multi-company or multi-entity books
• Ability to handle month-end closings independently
• Proactive, organized, and capable of working with minimal supervision

Compensation: As per industry standards and candidate experience

Pay: ₹8,500.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
