What they need
- Role & Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Accurately enter GST sales and purchase bills into Tally Prime on a daily basis.
- GST Reconciliation: Perform regular GST reconciliations (matching purchase registers with GSTR-2A/2B) to ensure error-free data.
- TDS Management: Handle basic TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations, tracking, and basic compliance documentation.
- Audit Support: Assist the senior team with basic audit processes, preparing necessary schedules, and organizing financial documents.
- Record Keeping: Maintain neat, organized, and up-to-date digital and physical accounting records.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Software Skills: Must have strong, hands-on experience working with Tally Prime.
- Core Knowledge: Good understanding of GST concepts, invoice formats, and the reconciliation process.
- Taxation Basics: Fundamental knowledge of TDS rules and basic auditing practices.
- Education: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or a related accounting field is preferred.
- Key Traits: High attention to detail, accuracy with numbers, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the firm.
